“I” am not “my” brain,
But what if I am, what if I am hormones and emotions gutted by vids, images, text,
Get stuck in precipices of grey mattering.
Brain is a public space.
Public expressions of affective states towards the non-other, the one and only,
Without the other you’re left with resonance.
What legitimizes the walls whence your sound re-sounds?
People don’t like public spaces, they’re uncomfortable,
Better privatize in the name of peace and quiet.
Easier to legitimize a wall than a gate, let alone a path.
